There's something I really like about this. Part of it is that I see the top half as being dark (dark hair with dark eye make up). The bottom half looks very bright; I can't tell if on her shoulder it's white from the light shining or if she's wearing something white. Either way, this photo juxtaposes black with white, and I see it as evil vs. innocence. In her face she almost looks torn between the two extremes. She's giving this intense look, even with her eyes closed. The cropping is wonderful; it is what first drew me to this image. Gorgeous shot.
